Indications for authors

PEER REVIEW

All types of manuscripts are peer reviewed before acceptance.

All submissions are initially evaluated by the editorial secretary. The manuscripts that do not conform to the general criteria for publication will be returned to the authors without detailed review.

The manuscripts that do conform to the general criteria for publication will be subjected to peer-review evaluation, from at least two specialists in the field.

Manuscripts are evaluated according to the following criteria: material is original and timely, writing is clear, study methods are appropriate, data are valid, conclusions are supported by the data, scientific flaws.

Peer reviewer identities and also author identities are kept confidential.

The existence of a manuscript under review is revealed only to peer reviewers and editorial staff.

Following the referees’ recommendations, the Editors decide if a paper is published or not. Accepted papers will be will be scheduled for publication as soon as possible, according to the number of accepted papers in the paper’s category and topic area.

The authors of the manuscripts that have been rejected or need revision will be announced. Please note, after rejecting a paper we do not return copies of the manuscript, floppy disks, or other enclosures such as copies of supporting papers.
